Hope at Christmas

I especially enjoyed this movie. I thought it was very well done. Of course, I felt like the romance came together too quickly, and that both of the main characters made big life-changing decisions very quickly, but that is what love will do to you. Sydney (Scottie Thompson) was fantastic and I loved the dynamic with the local school teacher, Mac (Ryan Paevey). I love how they bonded and in the end, Syd ended up buying the towns book store.

This may sound silly, but I really liked the dynamic between Mac and Syd while they were dating and spending time together. I thought it was cute how they were so open about saying they were going on a date, and having meaningful time together, just something I liked. AND… she totally fell in love with the book her wrote, how sweet is that!

Such a sweet relationship with Mac and Syd. I am just so happy that Syd was able to find love again, that was so great. Also, wouldn’t you love to inherit a house like that from your aunt? I loved that home! I highly recommend this movie! Giving it a 8.9 out of 10.
