Christmas Everlasting

Well done, Hallmark Movie Hall of Fame, you killed it again. This movie was really good, it pulled on the heart strings and it was different from most Hallmark movies. I was very curious most of the time, trying to put all of the pieces together. I felt terrible that Lucy (Tatyana Ali) carried all of that guilt with her about her sisters accident. Also, I felt like the town was especially critical of her when she came back to visit.

The ending came together really well and I was glad that she was able to  have some closure, and end up with Peter (Dondre Whitfield).  Now I never suspected that Meave was going to be Alice’s daughter, but my friend that I was watching with did suspect that. All in all, it was a great movie. I had a couple of people tell me even before I watched it, that it was a great movie. And those two people happened to be my parents. #HallmarkMoviesImpactFamilies

Overall, I’m rating this one a 8.8 out of 10.
