OK, this movie was amazing! I had all the feels watching this one. I loved it for so many reasons. I think this is one of the first Christmas Hallmark movies that has centered around a girls journey coming back after serving overseas. I thought it was perfect how she came across a town that needed her just as much as she needed them. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to come home with not a lot of family around. I love how the town just took her under their wing and loved her. Not to mention Judge Peterson (Sean Faris), who is probably the most perfect character in all of Hallmark movies. He was so cheesy at times, but I loved it so much.
I also just realized that both Sean Faris and Eloise Mumford were in Christmas with Holly, which is one of the all-time Hallmark Movie Classics. They certainly make a great pair. And is it just me, or does Sean remind anyone else of the boy who was on Wishbone, I keep thinking it is the same person, but I looked it up and they aren’t.
I think what really made me like this movie was that it seemed so realistic. It was so well done, you could really capture what each character was going through. They took a real life situation and showed that happy endings are all around us. So good, definitely a 9.1 out of 10.
